Some fat-burning cycle meal plans have been optimized around 4 meals a day. As with any phase, additional snacks are available when needed. A mid-morning snack will be added to your meal plan during your metabolic revving cycle.
Some examples of times you may elect to add an additional snack are: you’re accustomed to eating more frequently or prefer a slightly higher base intake, you’ve had a hard workout, your energy is low, or for appetite control. If for any reason, you need a snack between breakfast and lunch, please explore the extra food section.
At the bottom of the Extra Food screen, you will see recommended macro combinations for snacks specific to appetite control, post-workout, and energy. You will also find Sample Snacks for each snack type. Choose the combination that best suits your needs at the time. Be sure to log the extra macros! Logging accurately ensures that the MetPro algorithm will account for the additional nutrients at the next assessment.
