Yes, if you’d like. As most know, caffeinated coffee and tea is a stimulant. By itself, they won’t directly impact your progress bar—meaning it’s your choice if you wish to savor a cup of Joe in the morning—or any other time. However, if you wish to alter your coffee consumption (one way or the other) consider the following: people accustomed to daily caffeine are more likely to experience withdrawal symptoms should they stop abruptly. Since common withdrawal symptoms can mimic low blood sugar (headaches and irritability) we don’t recommend any abrupt alterations to your caffeine intake in the first few days of MetPro, when results could be skewed by withdrawal symptoms. That said, many people admit to needing less caffeine as they have more natural energy and fewer energy crashes throughout the day once they begin.
On the other side of the spectrum, excessive caffeine can be taxing to your body and have negative effects on your adrenal and nervous system. Living off high doses of caffeine is not recommended on MetPro. As with most things in life, moderation is key.
