There are a few ways to approach vacation. Aim to stay mostly on track if it’s feasible, or, acknowledge that you're on vacation –and pause tracking and analysis.
If you plan to stay mostly on track during your time away, continue checking off meals and snacks that match your MetPro plan. Just be sure to log any extra foods and alcohol too. Keep yourself balanced and accountable. Also, only weigh yourself if you are bringing your own scale AND if you want MetPro to continue making adjustments to your meal plan and training focuses. If you prefer to "pause" your program until you return, simply skip entering your weight.
If you know you will be off track we recommend changing your goal to Weight Maintain at least a week or two before leaving, especially if you are currently in a fat-burning cycle. This will allow MetPro some time to prepare your metabolism for a period of lower adherence. Switching abruptly from a fat-burning cycle into vacation eating can be jarring. Giving your metabolism some recovery in advance can help minimize the impact.
Once you are ready to return to your program, begin tracking your weight again and MetPro will resume making recommendations. If you changed your goal to Weight Maintain before you left, remember to edit your goal in the profile screen if you are still working on Fat Loss or Muscle Building.
